Investigation 5/2/2026
Initial Interview:The homeowners, Brian and Michelle, live in a house in Atlanta, New York, that was built in the late 1800's. They have resided there for two and a half years and felt a presence from day one. The home’s history includes a significant fire in the back and a smaller one in the front (dates unknown), which led to the back half being rebuilt in the original style. The paranormal activity has escalated, prompting them to seek help. Experiences include dishes flying out of a dish strainer , which Brian feels is an entity trying to get his attention. Auditory phenomena are common, Michelle, has tried using incense and speaking to the house to bring peace, but a “dark, non-human entity” persists, particularly in the bedroom, where it mimics Brian’s voice. Brian believes there may be up to five entities present—three good and two “not good at all. ”
Investigation
The formal investigation began with the team briefing the homeowners, Michelle and Brian, on the protocols for participation. They were instructed to speak clearly, avoid whispering, and “tag” any ambient or personal noises (e.g., stomach growls, movement) to ensure the integrity of the audio evidence. The team then initiated an Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) and K-II meter session in the living room. They quickly established communication with an entity that responded to yes/no questions. Through this dialogue, the team learned the spirit was present before the current homeowners moved in and is attached to an object within the home. It also confirmed that it was not the “cowboy” figure Brian had previously seen outside the house. During this session, a distinct EVP of a man clearing his throat was also captured and analyzed in real-time.
A significant breakthrough occurred during the K-II meter session when the team explored the house’s history. The communicating spirit confirmed that two separate fires had occurred on the property. In a stunning admission, the spirit confessed to intentionally starting one of the fires and expressed profound guilt and upset over the act. It revealed that its spiritual energy is attached to the “charredness in the attic” —the same location where the homeowner , Brian, had a disturbing personal experience.
The spirit affirmed it had been trying to show Brian what it went through during the fire. It also stated that it “got away with” the arson and is now alone in the attic, hiding in a sense of shame. In a separate session using a “puck” device, which translates energy into words, the team received the name “Tom” in response to a question about the identity of the cowboy figure seen outside, suggesting a separate, distinct presence.
The investigation then moved into its final phase. The team proceeded upstairs to explore the rooms with a history of cold spots and paranormal claims, particularly the “treasure room” and the attic, where the guilt- ridden spirit of the arsonist, identified as “Gale, ” is believed to reside. The team split up, each member taking a different room to conduct simultaneous communication sessions, aiming to understand the remaining spirits.
Conclusion
We documented our KII and Puck sessions and concluded that the spirit who started the fire is named Gale. Whether that was a true name or just want they wanted to be called is still in question as the history of this location is very sparse. We feel that Gale is not a threat in any way and perhaps just came forward because we were there seeking communication. We documented quite a few woman voices (same voice) – and in the process speculated whether Gale was a male or a female. Another question unanswered.
We were able to provide a few alternatives to the causes of the dishes falling and the voices being heard. We spoke at length about the remaining issues (most of this is redacted due to confidentially).
We did not get anything paranormal on video, and we reviewed all the audio clips we did obtain.
